This was a charming story about a little bunny who found the perfect gift, a huge candy cane, for her family. This was actually a story in rhyme, but because not all the words lent themselves to a rhythmical read, I chose to read it simply as a story. For example, the word "gift" that was supposed to rhyme with the word "with" tripped me up a bit. Nonetheless, I found the story very interesting because the storyline was novel, action oriented and a lot of fun. The artwork, done by a teenager, was simply adorable and meshed beautifully with the story. If you'd like a fun rollicking Christmas tale, this is one you may wish to consider!

I don't know what book that other reviewer read, but I happen to think that this book is super cute and has a great story. Peyton the rabbit needs help getting a Christmas present home for her siblings, and along the way she meets all kinds of different animals to help her get home. Unfortunately through some series of events Peyton and her friends get lost, but Santa saves the day!! The book sends a good message and that's what childrens books are supposed to do!! I guess it doesn't hurt that my daughter's name just so happens to be Peyton!!
